that renewable energy would save energy but the opposite seems to be true. >> yes, the problem is that renewable energy, wind and solar, it is more expensive and right now they are producing about 5% of our electricity. well as coal reduces about 40%. natural gas and oil produces a substantial amount also. so here the government is trying to get us to switch to a more expensive fuel and at the same time, one that is difficult to store with wind and solar. gerri: we know it is more expensive, we are paying for them and the taxpayers are paying for all of this, either through tax breaks or the green energy companies or other kinds of write-offs. but at the end of the day, why can the grid not handle it? what is a technical issue? >> it is difficult. they turn and they create energy, it is difficult to get that energy over to the coast and we generate a lot of wind energy in the country. and it's difficult to get overlooked where it's needed. and once you start trying to get it out elsewhere, it is a little bit more difficult. but the big problem is that the wind is heavily subsidized and it's more

the atomic energy authorities, and the u.s. alerted others that it may try to make its way into the united states. part of the warning was if anybody came in contact with it. but of course, another part of the worry is that maybe somebody did it on purpose. maybe somebody might realize what they have. or they stole it knowing what they were looking for because they wanted to get their hands on something highly radioactive. american officials told msnbc news that the thieves were not specifically looking for materials with which they could build a dirty bomb. now the authorities said the materials in the case may not just make an effective bomb because it would just blow up in the explosion, instead of dispersing anywhere. they his told msnbc that anybody handling this would probably make themselves very sick or hurt in the process of doing so and maybe they wouldn't be fit in making a bomb. the mexican officials said they believed the thieves were just after the cargo truck itself and the neat mounted crane on the back of the truck in the cab. thieves find these irresistible, and they get

energy and commerce committee releasing new e-mails showing that administration officials knew that they need to delay the health care exchange for small businesses as early as august, but it was not until six weeks later on september 26 that the administration actually announced that it was delaying the on-line portal for small business. energy and commerce committee chairman fred upton said, about that revelation, as the paper trail broadens, we see more a more evidence that the adminiration was fully aware. its signature health care law was not ready for prime tim. the documents we are now reviewing tell a much, much different story than what officials testified to congress. the white house continues to claim healthcare.gov is working better. public sentiment, however, is worsening. a new gallup poll shows the majority of americans, 52 percent, say they want a law scaled back or repealed outright compared with 50% to felt that way in october. 37 percent said they want a law expanded or kept as is. joining us now, senior fellow at the manhattan institute, former health care p

, 10:30 a.m. eastern? >> yes, ma'am. liz: robert, let me ask you, is there an energy name that is your favorite right now as you the stock-picker of 2014 looks into some of these names? >> well, there's several, but the one that comes to top of mind is devon energy and devon is one of the largest, oil, natural gas producers in the u.s. they have nearly doubled their capacity in the last couple of years. and they have consistently raised their dividend for years in a row. i think that is, that the pick right there when it comes to energy. david: robert, you know the interesting thing about you you are a bull but at the same time you think we are in a bubble but this is a bubble you don't think is going to pop anytime soon. you can't ignore it, you have to manage on to it, right? >> right. look at the people that have been the naysayers all this time while the s&p is up 20 6% year-to-date or so and -- 26%. they're right but nobody knows the timing when the fed eases off the throttle. david: is it time, at least to clear a little bit of that profit off the top of the table? >> yes. it is.
